Since Bell Helicopter/Textron, Inc., headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, was established in 1935, more than 35,000 Bell helicopters have been delivered. Bell Helicopter is one of the leading suppliers of helicopters, tilt rotor aircraft, and helicopter spare parts and services in the world. In 2008, Bell Helicopter reported revenues of approximately $2.8 billion. Bell has the largest fleet of helicopters in the world with over 13,000 units operating in over 120 countries.

Bell is the leading supplier of commercially certified helicopters and support to corporate, offshore petroleum exploration and development, utility, charter, police, fire, rescue and emergency helicopter operations.

Bell produces a variety of helicopter types including light single and twin engine helicopters and medium twin engine helicopters. Commercial helicopters offered by Bell include the 206, 407, 412, and the newly designed 429.

The Bell 412EP is a rugged and reliable medium twin-engine helicopter that offers an expansive cabin and unparalleled performance proven around the world in the most challenging environments. A true workhorse, the 412EP's 5,100 pounds of useful load with a 4,500 pound lifting capability, and its 13 passenger seating capacity allow for easy transportation of goods and personnel locally, and to near offshore sites. The Bell 412EP helicopter is highly modifiable and is therefore able to perform almost any customer mission.

Bell's customer support and service division provides service and support to its customer base of approximately 13,000 helicopters and tilt rotors. Bell's support network includes four Bell owned service centers, more than 140 independent service centers, and six parts distribution centers located throughout the world.
